Welcome!
I want to say THANK YOU to all of the employees who joined us for our Together Town Hall sessions! Our most recent sessions on July 27 were again incredibly successful. The feedback received was tremendously valuable and very much appreciated.
Know that your voices have been heard and I, along with the senior leadership team, am already making changes based on your feedback. It is my goal to use this information to make improvements in your working environment so that you can be your best.
Below is an update on many of the important issues you raised and the progress in making lasting change. I will continue to add to this list as I get more ideas from you. And I look forward to hearing those ideas at our next Together Town Hall on Wednesday, October 26.

Recently our facilities team has added improved crosswalk striping and solar activated warning lights at loop road crosswalks. The camera technology includes vehicle identification so our security team can detect criminals and respond immediately to prevent vehicle theft and break-ins before they happen. Security staffing has also increased significantly, especially in the Emergency Department.Employee Gym

Badge access is required to unlock the door. Masks are still required even when exercising. Be sure to use provided cleaning supplies after use of each item or equipment, and please do not enter the Radiology Suite next door to the gym.Safety

Eliminate Z beds.Response:
We had hoped to stop using all Z-beds on June 30, but with census remaining high due in part to increased COVID-positive inpatients, Z-beds are our best temporary option to ensure patient throughput from the ED. Though Z-beds are not ideal, they offer a hospital bed in a room. We look to break ground in a few months on our new bed tower, expanding bed space for our patients and creating more room for staff to work.Patient Care
